About us
It is our pleasure to share a brief history of our 40-year-old kennel, CKC perm. Reg’d. SHEBASKA SAMOYEDS, with you.
Our life changed in 1969 with the arrival of a Samoyed puppy, Khingan's Queen of Sheba CD (ptd), born January 17th,1969.
Khingan's Queen of Sheba CD (ptd) came home with us on April 1st, 1969 and SHEBA became part of our family.
In 1971, SHEBA received her OFA-Excellent hip certification and even at thirteen years of age, 1984, her eyes were ACVO certified clear.
As time went by, Frank and I thought it would be nice to have another Sammy. So in 1970, we purchased Can CH Khingan's Chu the Magnificent (COO), SNOWLAND line bred.
He was a grand-son of English import, CH Derek the Piskeylated. COO was true to type, affectionate, obedient and smart.
Late in 1970, we acquired our second female, Glow's Grand Finale of Khingan Can Am CD. Her call name was SHAUNA.
We realised early in 1971 that we had to have a kennel name. So we combined the call names of our foundation stock: SHEBA and ALASKA to create SHEBASKA.

During the 1970's we competed mainly in the Obedience Ring. In the late 70's Frank was active as a CKC judge and had assignments in Canada, the USA and the West-Indies.
Over the past several years, we have shown our sams mainly in the Conformation ring and have over 40 Canadian champions to our credit.
All our present samoyeds are SHEBA, CHU and SHAUNA descendants. We were very fortunate to receive such healthy, high quality foundation stock.
Pleased enjoy a brief photographic history of our newest mother’s bloodline, CAN Ch Shebaska Magic flute BPIS.
